ALBERTON is the first authentic American duck fabric manufacturer in Japan.

In the 19th century, textile mills began to emerge along the East Coast.   In Maryland, near the Patapsco River, the first mill was built in the 1830s, leading to the development of a a large-scale mill factory , this place was called Alberton. However, in 1938, the name was dropped due to the prolonged Great Depression. In 1940, the community of Alberton was sold to a sole bidder, and its name faded into history until the brand was resurrected in Japan in 2016.
The Alberton Vintage line is woven using the same techniques as in 1870, preserving traditional weaving standards as much as possible. This craftsmanship allows you to enjoy the unique texture of old textiles that have been overlooked by modern technology.
